Smoke DZA links with fellow Harlem representative Killa Cam for “Ghost of Dipset”, which I hope is a sign that Cam doesn’t plan to try to resurrect that dinosaur, considering that his former compadres have been playing themselves for reality TV for the last few years.  Just let it be great in our memories, Cam.

[EP] Ringside x Smoke DZA & 183rd


Gotta appreciate the old school wrestling reference with Ayatollah Blassie and Iron Sheikh on the cover art. 

I love the fact that (a) MCs are learning the benefits of releasing EPs (quality over quantity) and that (b) MCs are learning the benefit to keeping the production consistent by working with one or two producers.  Smoke DZA delivers a new project alongside new (to me) producer 183rd who I’ve recently been hearing good stuff from.  Enjoy.
